What's in a name. Ryohei's name is 笹川 了平 in Japanese, which translates to "Bamboo River" for his surname, Sasagawa. For his first name, it translates roughly to "Complete Peace" where the Ryo stands for complete, while the hei part could be defined as even, flat or peace, since none of the prior sounds nice, I went with peace. Although my dictionary and translations could be inaccurate by all means.
