How to be Extreme!!!

Sasagawa Ryohei plays the part of Tsuna's "Big Brother", although not related by blood, Ryohei's little sister Kyoko thinks highly of him and therefore Ryohei considers Tsuna to be his little brother. Ryohei's goal in life is to be EXTREME!!! and he enjoys boxing. Due to his skills, he becomes Tsuna's Sun Guardian, and fights by his side in the Mafia, as a member of the Familiga.

Ryohei was born on August 26th and is currently 15 years of age, making him the (assumed, Hibari's age is unknown) second oldest of the guardians, being younger than Mukuro by two and a half months. His late August birthday makes him a Virgo. Ryohei's blood type is A. Which according to Japanese Blood type Personality Profiling makes him "Type A's are outwardly calm, they have such high standards (perfectionists) that they tend to be balls of nerves on the inside. Type A's are the most artistic of the blood groups. They can be shy, are conscientious, and sensitive" which is actually the exact opposite of his personality. Ryohei stands at 168cm (5'5'') tall and weighs 59kg (130lbs). This means he's the same height as Gokudera and closest in weight to Hibari (he weighs less than the much taller Yamamoto and Mukuro. Ryohei claims his favorite sport is EXTREME!!! boxing. His hobbies are EXTREME!!! training for his EXTREME!!! boxing. His motto is EXTREME!!! and he hates laziness to the EXTREME!!! All the extreme-ness is actually in his profile. Making it look either hardcore or ridiculous.

Ryohei is called lawn head by Gokudera, because of his short hair which makes his hair look like newly mowed lawn. This is the only really weird nickname Ryohei is called but it pretty much describes his appearance to a point. Throughout the series Ryohei's appearance and outfit almost never changes, unlike other characters such as Gokudera and Yamamoto. Ryohei is always seen with bandages on his hands. This is common among boxers, and being a boxer, Ryohei always wears them. They protect the fragile bones joints from light harm and prevents strain and twisting in the joints. They also provide padding against possible friction injury to the skin's surface which could later lead to infection. Pretty much all boxers wear bandages and for the EXTREME! Ryohei, this is not optional. Ryohei also has a bandage over his nose. The reason why he is always wearing it is unknown however, he continues to wear it in the the Future Arc, however from time to time (such as during important battles) he'll forget to wear it and pretty much forget about the whole thing entirely, his forgetful nature makes him carry memos in the future. Ryohei also has a prominent scar over his left eyebrow which was left from when he and Kyoko were in grade school. Ryohei beat up some high school students who attacked them, but ended up with his scar.
