the boy next doorBasil wears modern and urban apparel that would allow him to blend in regardless of setting, therefore Basil can only rely on facial features to stand out in appearances. Basil’s most outstanding feature is his bright blue eyes. They can best be described as being cerulean. They’re striking due to the rain attribute flame that he uses when he fights. Basil’s other features give him a “boy next door” appearance. His sandy brown hair flows just below the nape of his neck and he has long bangs that frame his face. Basil is not outstandingly tall or short and has an average build of 157cm. Combined with his weight of 47kg this gives Basil an estimated BMI (Body Mass Index) of 19.1, which is just about the lowest mark for a “normal weight” this proves that Basil is incredibly lithe rather than overtly built.
In most circumstances Basil wears a layered and comfortable look, not too far from the trends common among teens. He has a plain, black, and most likely, cloth jacket which is form fitting even when unzipped. Below lies a classic white button up shirt which leaves the top few buttons undone in order to show off a colored (often red or blue) wife beater or t-shirt. Basil compliments his top with tight and faded blue jeans and unmarked shoes. Basil accessorizes with a chain hanging from his back pocket to his front pocket (the type often seen on wallets) which he uses to hang his box weapons on in the Ten Years Later Arc and his boomberang in both arcs he's appeared in.
Basil will wear classic Japanese robes when he’s sitting in his room or alone, he appears to be obsessed with the comfort and style of classic Japanese clothes and they do go well with his favorite possession, the sumo apron (underwear) that his master gave him.
