The following section on Yamamoto Takeshi's name. First I will explain what it means according to a method of name definitions known as kabalarians. A common method which can explain the meaning behind Yamamoto's first name (and even last name if I so desired to pay money), and even differentiates between male and female. So, anyway now that that is all explained you will notice that characteristics fitting Yamamoto will be bold or italicized. Also please realize that the source I use to do this is here. In addition to the above I will also try to take apart the characters used to spell his name and come up with a definition for it.
Although the name Takeshi creates the urge to be reliable and responsible, we emphasize that it causes a blunt expression that alienates others. This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses through worry, mental tension, and tension or accidents to the head. Your name of Takeshi gives you self-assurance, independence, and confidence. You have depth of mind and the ability to concentrate and to follow a line of thought to a logical conclusion. Your love of challenging the concepts of others invariably leads you to create your own ideas and to pioneer new lines of thought. Your strong characteristic of individuality qualifies you as a leader. You must be independent and you do not brook interference in any way. Although you do not tolerate interference in your own affairs, this characteristic does not prevent you from interfering in the affairs of others.
The characters used to spell Yamamoto (山本) are made up of the character meaning mountain or pile (山) and the character often used for book.. according to Google Translations (本). Overall these two characters don't seem to fit together therefore I looked up the etymology of the characters when used together. I found that the character (本) is derived from the chinese character for root and is often used when combined with (山) specifically as a Japanese Surname meaning "mountain root" or "mountain roots" which could signify the strength that is rooted in Takeshi's family name, Yamamoto. The name that follows the Shigure Souen Style and gives Yamamoto the natural instincts of a 'born hitman' as Reborn calls it.
Yamamoto's first name Takeshi is spelled with the character (武) which is literally translated online as 'Takeshi' what the characters of the name mean however forced me to find the etymology of character. I found that in it's Chinese roots the character was used to define things such as military or warlike. It was created by combining the characters (戈) and (止) which mean 'spear' and 'to stop' respectively. The characters when combined have also been used to be defined as 'to stop war' or 'to stop violence' which makes a fair amount of sense because Yamamoto while he fights with his sword will use skilled strokes in order to ensure he does not kill his opponent in the hopes of not causing, or therefore stopping more violence.
